What Sets Access Elite Homecare Staffing Apart?

Our dynamic duo met while working on a project at a homecare staffing organization. Management assigned us the task of recruiting and compliance departments to streamline the caregiver hiring process and ensure worker quality. We worked well together from the start, striking up a fast friendship. We discovered we both shared the dream of starting our own business and advancing the industry.

Just a few months later, in May of 2020, we were laid off. This brief setback brought us tremendous opportunity. We immediately spoke on the phone and started making plans on opening our homecare staffing business. Our pact was to improve the on-the-job experience for caregivers and the satisfaction of organizations and individuals seeking homecare staffing services with a new approach to the hiring process.

Mission: Improve the Homecare Experience by Disrupting the Industry

Thanks to our previous job bridging the gap between employees and homecare organizations, we gleaned in-depth knowledge into the concerns of workers, employers, and homecare patients. We found that home caregivers were frustrated at the lack of training, support, and direction given them. They felt overlooked and unappreciated. We recognized employer frustration with the inability to place workers quickly into available positions and avoid lost business. We also noticed private clients were often overwhelmed by the challenges of hiring a home caregiver and greatly in need of support in developing a care management plan. Though the industry seemed, as a whole, stuck on client-based needs, we realized the path to top-quality senior care should involve a much broader picture. Successful caregiver recruiting isn’t about doing one thing really well. It’s about looking at the different pieces of the jobseeker/employer hiring puzzle, understanding how they fit together, and using that information to help all parties gain a competitive advantage across the board.

Action Plan: Refining the Homecare Staffing Process

Our dynamic new approach to homecare staffing is multifaceted, we:

  • Stop looking at caregivers as identical and replaceable

  • Exchange high-turnover employment tactics for more precise job placement, helping employers find lasting solutions for their staffing gaps

  • Simplify the job search and hiring process by connecting vetted and qualified workers with those in need of their specific skills

  • Help job seekers find more satisfying jobs, precisely matching each caregiver's unique skillset with available positions

  • Vet qualified workers with Live Scan background checks in advance so they can enter available home care jobs more quickly

  • Supplement existing employees with a strong training system

  • Offer support for private clients arranging in-home care for seniors, from client management to payroll

These things, collectively, will allow employers to expand their hiring pool with qualified workers, gaining a competitive advantage. The process will also, by design, produce lasting employment and improve client care, matching caregivers with the ideal personality traits with their perfect caregiving position.

Vision: Transforming Lives Through Compassionate Caregiving

Building lasting relationships that improve senior care while improving the employment landscape for caregivers and businesses is at the core of our vision. Shifting the paradigm is essential to the future health of our local community and the nation as the demand for caregivers increases due to COVID 19 and a growing population of aging seniors seeking in-home care. We want to be the bridge between job seekers, employers, and private clients, matching the best caregiver with the right employment opportunity. Our team is dedicated to helping employees find fulfilling, lasting homecare jobs, assisting employers and consulting services with finding top-quality caregivers, and supporting individuals seeking in-home care with navigating hiring and care management tasks.
